Another Cheap Mount That'll Break in a Week?

When my baby started rolling over, I needed to constantly readjust our monitor camera angle. Wall mounts meant drilling holes in a rental, adhesive mounts kept falling off, and tabletop stands took up precious nursery space. Searching for a flexible solution that wouldn't break the bank, I found this universal mount for $2.8. I figured I wasn't risking much if it turned out to be junk.

What Actually Works (And What Doesn't)

The genuinely impressive parts:
The flexible arm holds position surprisingly well. I've been using it with a fairly heavy Wyze camera, and it stays put even when positioned upside down. The clamp grips crib rails securely without scratching the finish. The 1/4" thread is standard, so it works with most baby cameras and security cams.

The real limitation:
The arm length is shorter than I expected. If you have thick crib rails or need to reach the center of a large crib, you'll run into reach limitations. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's worth knowing upfront.

What Do You Normally Get for $2.8?

At this price point, most mounts are rigid plastic affairs or flimsy adhesive solutions. Decent flexible arms usually run $8-15. I expected something that would work "okay" for the money, but this actually handles daily repositioning without loosening up.
