When Your 2016 Car Feels Ancient

I drive a 2016 Mazda that came with everything except the one thing I actually use daily - Bluetooth audio that doesn't suck. After months of fumbling with aux cables that break every two weeks, I decided to try this Joyroom adapter for $8.77. Here's my honest take after a month of daily use.

What This Little Device Actually Does

The Joyroom plugs into your car's aux port and adds Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. What surprised me most was how fast it connects - turn on your car, and it's already paired without that annoying "connected" voice announcement that cheaper adapters love to shout.

Audio quality is genuinely good for the price point. Bass response is strong (maybe too strong if you're not into that), but you can EQ it on your phone. The dual microphones handle calls decently, though don't expect crystal-clear conference call quality.

The One Thing That Annoys Me
