When your outdoor lighting budget is tight

The real limitation:
Battery performance drops significantly during cloudy periods or shorter winter days. With less than 4 hours of direct sunlight, expect the lights to die around midnight. If you live somewhere with limited sun exposure, you'll need lights with larger solar panels.

Compared to name brands like Ring or Philips ($25-45 each), you're obviously not getting premium materials or app connectivity, but the core functionality is surprisingly comparable.
