The magnetic base sticks firmly to metal surfaces, and the clip holds well on clothing or gear.

The rechargeable battery via USB is convenient, though it takes a while to charge fully. Based on my testing, you get about 2 hours of continuous use on a full charge.

The one limitation worth knowing

While the build quality surprised me for the price, the battery life isn't spectacular. Two hours is decent for emergency use, but if you need extended runtime for serious outdoor work, you'll want something with a bigger battery. The charging time is also slower than I'd prefer.
