Moondrop Space Travel 2 Review: HiFi TWS earbuds under $30

Looking for gaming earbuds that don't sound like tin cans

I've been through a dozen TWS earbuds for gaming this year, and most disappoint with terrible latency or flat sound. When I spotted the Moondrop Space Travel 2 at $25, I figured it was another generic Chinese brand. I was completely wrong.

My honest take after testing them

These earbuds surprised me from day one. The HiFi sound signature is legitimate - bass hits hard without muddying mids, and treble stays crisp without being harsh. Active noise cancellation works well on commutes and in noisy cafes.

The low-latency gaming mode delivers. I tested it with Apex Legends and could pinpoint enemy locations accurately. Bluetooth 6.0 connection stays stable without annoying dropouts.

What surprised me: they include a dedicated app with parametric EQ. You can tune the sound curve like earbuds costing $200+.

The real limitation: battery life hits about 4-5 hours with ANC on. For marathon gaming sessions, you'll need mid-session charging.

What you normally get at this price

At $25, you'd typically get basic Sony WF-C500s without ANC ($40) or Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 with mediocre sound ($25). The Moondrops deliver audio quality and features you'd find in $80+ earbuds.
